Grading System

----GPA is determined by using a 4.0 system with one bonus point

given for honors courses. It is cumulative from 9th grade. The grading

scale is as follows:

----In view of Monsignor Kelly's competitive college preparatory

curriculum, the size of the school, and the performance of the

students, the school regards rank in class as an indicator which may be

misleading. Consequently, the school does not rank its students for the

college admissions process except as required by the Texas Ten

Percent Rule.
