Parents of Juniors Interested in the

Lamar College Program...

Lamar University Dual Credit Courses:

All courses related to Lamar University (whether through the twelve hour

senior level program or the two LEAP classes for juniors or seniors)

will continue to earn a 1.0 additional G.P.A. boost.

Please visit the Counseling Office if you are interested in making

a change to your course selections for next year.

The Counseling Deparment recommends the following option in order to meet

the eligibility requirements for the Lamar College Program:

-Register for the SAT test .

-Check your scores by phone (1-800-728-7767) or online

(www.collegeboard.com) FEE:credit card required

If the scores meet THEA exemption criteria:

Minimum Verbal 500

Minimum Math 500

Minimum Composite 1070
