Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School is a unique four-year academic institution

of the Diocese of Beaumont, Texas. This coeducational high school is an

education ministry of the Catholic Church under the jurisdiction of Bishop

Guillory. Monsignor Kelly is devoted to making Christ’s love real in the world. It

is a gathering of students from all races, religion, economic levels and social

backgrounds. Monsignor Kelly is spiritually robust and academically

demanding.

The mission of Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School is to serve as a community

of Christ’s familial love for diverse cultures, peoples, and abilities. The school is

dedicated to excellence in education, growth in the relationship to God, and

service to society. The spirit of Kelly is "to have the mind of Jesus."

Monsignor Kelly continues its 100-years plus tradition of faith as we head into the

21st century. Kelly was founded in 1895 by the Dominican Sisters as a one

room parish school, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, which became St. Anthony

High School in 1917. The present facility was named Central Catholic High

School when is opened in 1961. The name was changed in 1964 to honor

Monsignor Edmund A. Kelly for his untiring efforts and interest in education.
